My research began with entrepreneurial behaviour and decision-making.
I am increasingly applying this perspective to the commercialization and scaling of strategic technologies.

THE BUSINESS OF SPACE, DEFENCE & DUAL USE
I work at the intersection of entrepreneurship, innovation, commercialization, ecosystems and strategic technologies — studying and shaping the business and entrepreneurial side of the space, defence and dual-use industries: how emerging technologies become viable ventures, how companies innovate in highly uncertain and regulated environments, and how ecosystems, capital, policy and entrepreneurial actors shape commercialization.
